I went through the same recently. It only requires one person with your
email address to start an avalanche - I was getting this 20+ times some
days. Unfortunately the only way I was able to kill it was to get a filter
placed by my ISP to block all incomings from the offending bogus email
address. It did not appear to becoming from any of the lists to which I was
subscribed.
