I have missed most of that thread, until I read Don's mail
(I read *all* of Don's mails !), and I also fully agree.

And as for D*epfer, forget about D*epfer, it's good for a joke,
but nothing much else. This mailing list looks like it's been
haunted from the "ghost of D*epfer" all too long.

If somebody wants to get one more item of fun, I can offer
you a free GIF graphic with "No Dope" written inside a red
circle, with the graphic font taken from our all friend's very
homepage. (Now is that violating his rights ?)
I toyed with it for some hours, I think it looks *nice*, but
in the end I decided not to put it on my web page as I had
first intended. (But then, I'm "JH the coward", ain't I ?)

So if anybody wants it you can get it with private email.
But keep it funny. It ceased to be serious a long time ago,
and I feel its days of being funny are counted as well.
