[sdiy] Modding an old analog - can someone assist? A Puzzle...

Hey all, I'm a bit new to the DIY group.

I am currently modding an old MiniKorg II (700s) synth, circa 1973/4.

The mod I am currently working on is to adjust the 'travel vibrato' time
(that's early Korgspeak for LFO adjusting the filter).

I have a close up of the schematic on this link:

Pin 51 goes to a 50K pot on the panel, then to ground, for LFO speed adjust.

What I want to do is slow it way down, so LFO speed can be upwards of 10 to
30 seconds max, instead of 1 second max.

I have some knowledge and am pretty good with a soldering iron, but I'm not
so good at analyzing schematics and working back-and-forth between circuit
boards.

Can any of you wizards out there tell me how I can change the circuit to
allow a longer LFO time?

Thanks much

Rob Pierce
