[sdiy] God! Do I need a simple latch switch!

I really, really need a push button, simple,
electronic, latch switch that will perform 1: spdt and
2 dpdt! I'm pouring thru RM Marstons' excellent 'Audio
IC Users Hankbook' at the moment, I'm checking out
4016/66 circuits etc...
I really want somthing based around a simple
transistor/discrete affair, but if not any ideas are
welcome...
