[sdiy] shielded wire recommendation

Hi everyone,

I've gotten a list together of the mods I want to perform on my SH-101. I'll
be adding VCF inputs, VCO outputs, and a VCF overdrive pot that will require
passing the audio signal up several inches of cable to new pots / jacks... so
I decided to buy some cable for it (1 conductor + shield). I stopped by
Radio Shack, and bought a small spool, but the wire they carry is very poorly
made. It's hard to work with, and not very flexible.

Does anyone have a "favorite" sheilded wire that they use? I'd prefer
something available through Mouser or Digikey, as these are the suppliers I
use most often. Since this will be internally mounted, I suppose foil shield
with drain will be fine (smaller diameter is a nice benefit)

Also, is there any benefit to using this shelided cable on ALL of my
modifications? I wasn't sure if there's a need to shield CV inputs / outputs
as well.

Thanks in advance

Dave Magnuson
