[sdiy] water clean solder

Two approaches to the same end. The 'noble metal' (gold) will not
corrode. Probably work very well... if the IC pins were gold plated
as well (and at one time... that was common). The screw machine
sockets are lousy for retention force, however. My company had to
GLUE the chips in... until we switched to AMP Diplomate.

I cannot give opinion on other brands I have not tried
