Just about anything is OK with 331. Open trimmers even. Spray the board
or run it under warm tap water, don't immerse it. Follow up with a de-I
or distilled water rinse. I've heard that you have to rinse the board
often during assembly, but we don't do this. If you are going to let the
board sit for more than a day, rinse it off.

For onboard pots and final board connections to the front panel, we use
the no clean 245 solder.

Toss your rosin core solder, it's junk!
