except.... In all the years of house wiring that I've redone (to add
three-prong outlets, etc) I don't think I've ever seen an outlet that
actually had the box grounded.  It's usually (poorly) insulated, two
conductor wire enters the box and both wires connect to the outlet. 
	Of course, it might not be 'lawful' but I figure out which conductor
is the 'neutral' and loop it over to the ground.  Better than nothing
of course.  And if you get it wrong, you'll know because when you flip
the breaker/fuse it will blow right out!
