Most Laptop computers have only a two prong plug with the return pin a
little wider. Does your laptop have an in-the-line power supply? Most do. I
see no safety issue as the power supply "should" provide complete isolation
from the mains power. The highest voltage that your laptop uses is probably
12 volts. Is your laptop made of plastic? Thought so. No place for your body
to make a connection to the laptop and another conductor.
