    Actually, this is a world event, and as it turns out, Santa Barbara happens
to be located so that no matter which direction you go, no other place is more
than half way around the world.....

    Actually, if you lived in Santa Barbara, this would not be funny...many
people here seem to think we live in the center of the universe.... :-)
