What about display/panel processor (or complete panel), keyboard processor
and DOC? Especially, the d/p processor is known to die very often,
similarly the keyboard processor drops the keyboard scanning in groups of
eight... I recently got requests for those two beasts plus a display, let
me know if these components of your ESQ still work and if I can direct
those three people to you.
Just for information: The SMP08 from Analog Devices will make a proper
replacement for the SSM2300.
You may want to advertise the ESQ parts on the SQ80 mailing list (see
http://hotswap.cs.tum.edu/mailman/listinfo/sq80 for subscription
information).
Rainer (having one of those cannibalized ESQ1s which will serve as a
rev-eng platform for CEM rebuilds some day...)
P.S.: If somebody already has a good idea about how to recreate CEM3379
and CEM3360 with standard parts but fears to experiment with their holy
(cause still runnning) equipment, let me know. That ESQ-1 board must be
good for something...
