I'm curious why?  The Paia 9700 is setup that way.  What's the difference
between

V-------+-------+
        |       |
        M1      M2

and

V---+-------M1
|
+-----------M2

??? (Sorry for the ASCII art :-)
Same voltage level reaches both, right?  Thanks
