[sdiy] yamaha cs30L mods?

 Hi I have seen mention that it may be possible to make a matrix patch system for a CS30L. I was wondering if anyone has any experience with doing a mod like that, or possibly jacks, like a regular modular. 
 I have won a CS30L at an auction, and may be interested in getting it modded so that it would be fully modular, instead of the rather close hardwired system that it has.
