As I recall, the filter chip in the DW-8K is the same as the filter chip in 
the Poly 800 (could be wrong).  If it is, it's a very nice little thing, 
capable of self-oscillating and so on.

I don't offhand know what version of the firmware you have, but if its the 
fixed version (where they got rid of at least a little bit of the 
key-bounce phenom) I wouldn't mind having it....  :)

I just got a DW-8K in very nice shape, so any pieces you'd want to send my 
way for possible repair use in the future would certainly be welcomed.

Also, if you'd like to get rid of the manual, I'd be happy to get it 
scanned and host it for all to use.  This, of course, assumes you have the 
manual.
