Hi list,

Yesterday I visited the 'Uitmarkt' in Amsterdam and at the end of the show
there was a performance of Eboman, a very talented and famous (at least here
in Holland ;) audio/video sample wizard. He was only using a couple of
laptops and interactively changed the audio and video fragments by moving
his right arm on which he had connected a set of controllers. Though the
controllers seemed to have some latency problems, it was an interesting show
to hear and watch. Here's a link to Eboman's SamplemadnesS site:
http://www.eboman.com

The results of a Google-search showed that Eboman uses the socalled
Image/ine software from STEIM, together with a custom set of controllers (I
guess they're based on STEIM's SensorLab). STEIM is a "center of R&D of
instruments & tools for performers in the electronic performance arts",
located in Holland. You can read more about the STEIM organization at their
website: http://www.steim.nl

Sounds all very yummy to me :-)

Cheers,
Martijn
