Could it be that the inputs aren't nulled out due to the 
unballanced +/- supplies?
If using the trimming circuit from the AD datasheet, it 
would trim over a small range halfway between the 
supplies (-2V).
If the input signals (like X+ and Y+) are referenced to 
ground and "trim" (like x- and Y-) are at -2V, then 
that could be the problem.
If there is only one input signal, does it go through?

(Just guessing, and I don't have any datasheets.)
