Some guitar fx boxes assume that they are being fed from 500k impedance,
otherwise the tone is a bit different. Remember that many guitar fx
aren't designed by people who understand impedance & etc.
BTW, the wheel HAS been patented in Australia! to point out how F*&^%$
the patent system is. Go to Don Lancasters site for more patent madness,
sob stories etc.
