[sdiy] PV-1 Pitch-Voltage Converter

Hi List,
Just wanted to mention that I have recently built one of Harry's PV-1 
pitch-voltage converter boards (available from EFM), and it works 
nicely. As a test, I set the Jupiter-8 to monophonic mode, fed the JP-8 
output into the PV-1, whose output in turn controlled the frequency of a 
cloned Moog Prodigy VCO. Got tight tracking over 5 octaves (length of 
JP-8 kbd). As the converter works by measuring the instantaneous period 
of the input waveform (rather than being a simple tachometer-type 
circuit) it also follows rapid pitch changes - portamento, LFO mode 
quite well. Harry was quite helpful with "technical support".
