[sdiy] new midi controller (oral)

I saw a recorded demo of this or something that sounds 
very similar. It was one of those things you see that made 
my brain scream YES! OF COURSE! 

It measured height and width of the mouth opening. He 
had it controlling a filter for height and distortion for width. 
A guy was playing guitar and wha-wha by making fish mouth 
actions and then grit teeth for fuzz. 
He said it was very natural to use.

I see in this week's New Scientist mag (18 Aug, # 2304)
page 20-21:
the "mouthsizer" using a head mounted video camera
uses a facial-recognition algorithm to track the shape of
the players mouth & control midi data accordingly.
To be described at  Siggraph 2001.
