Its stable at unity and can be used as a follower. But its single
brother, the 5534, is not unless you add a little cap or RC network to
the compensation pins. Its a bit of a power hungry devil though, and the
OP275 is better, but more expensive.

The BC549 is my favourite. Alternatively the BC550 will suffice.
