   Believe it or not I was able to seek out a "POKEY" datasheet. The "Pokey"
is indeed the CO-12294 I was speaking of. The datasheet was a 50 page pdf
and quite frankly was way over my head for the most part. I understood the
basics of the chip but I still cant figure out if it would be a do-able
project. The chip seems to have 4 voices on it from what I gathered. I'll
gladly e-mail the pdf to anyone interested.
   Theres a web page that has various old school video/computer game sound
chips for sale. I didnt even recognize most of them but maybe someone will
