Be careful ! Once you do see, feel and hear, they
become addictive.

Absolutely. I must have arrived at S-DIY about the same
time as Paul. However, after being away from electronics
for 20+ years in high-voltage work, I was not sure I was
ready for true DIY work. When Paul started looking for
input for MOTM, I thought it might be OK for me since
kits have never been a problem. Well, I started with MOTM
and have since graduated to some simple DIY stuff to go along
with it. But, I owe my learning and improved design and
construction habits to following the example of how Paul
select the no compromise to quality approach.with MOTM.

Over 200 of us as MOTM customers really appreciate it too.
We are all glad Paul didn't quit when he had his $5000 back and
vacation paid for. What would I have done with only two modules?
<grin>
I suspect most of the people on this list don't need MOTM. Many
of you have the design skills to jump into a project with little more
than an idea for a schematic. BUT, I KNOW there are guys out there
like me that are looking for a place to get there feet wet and learn.
To me that is one of the best features of buying MOTM. Paul not
only provides us a great product, but you just cannot help but learn
if you try at all. If one cannot build MOTM following Paul's instructions,
they might want to consider some other hobby. :)
So, as a relative "newbie" and too old to be called one, I appreciate
what I have learned from Paul, MOTM, and other members of this list.
Congratulations Paul on the continued success of your "baby." May
your love for "synth" always blind you from what you make per-hour
on this MOTM gig!
