   Hello,

   I've created many "Werker" percussion sounds, but only through the use of
modular synths. In particular, the Korg MS10/20/50 was a great combination
for achieving just about any of the snares imaginable. When you think about
it, their percussion sounds were quite simple....
I acheived the bass drum just from running an oscillator through my 2 pole
filter at extremely hi-rez. Once you're in the ball park it just takes a
little twiddling. Also, any synth with a noise source can make a snare
sound. Of course, the bigger the synth the better because you have more
ingredients to add. Hope this helps.
