[sdiy] Filter Q Scale?

Hello DIYers,

A lot of filter designs have 'static Q' and I'll be looking into adding VC Q
to some designs with other modifications.  From looking at various
schematics I've noticed that there are usually one of three types of pots in
the feedback loop for Q. There are linear, log and reverse log pots
depending on the design.

So here are some questions:

What feedback scale provides the most useful Q control?

Will the type of scale vary with different filter types?

Are there any words of advice on this?
