Hi all,
my tb3030 is very nearly finished now (awaiting back ordered parts from
maplin). The problem lies in finding a suitable case. Its a single tb3030
and tbDAC so the obvious choice to me seems to be a 1 unit rack, but they
cost £33 from maplin UK, and i'm nearly broke. Any suggestions on sources of
cheaper racks (even if incomplete/ crap/ used/ whatever) or any suggestion
of alternative cases.
(I'm consideing ripping apart by ancient broken video machine: same width as
rack without ears, and exactly 2 units deep, just need to make a front
panel).
Secondly the tbDAC calls for a 7545 or 7945. Maplin used to sell one of
these at £7, but no longer does, and RS online does sell them, but at £12
and £4 postage. Any other (UK based) suppliers that stock them?
Thirdly, the tb3030 requires a 47k dual linear omeg eco pot, but maplin has
discontinued these (no longer listed online). Anyone know of other suplliers
of Omeg Eco 16 pots?
thanks for any help
Seb Carr
