oops... some tin platings (electroless in particular) make the board look
nice... and extend soldering lifetime (to a point) after that you get TIN OXIDE
which is a hell of a lot harder to remove than copper oxide. If you want to
solder
down the road (a year to years later) DON'T do this.
Solder coat is a nice alternative... but tough to do by hand ;^)
