I am NOT endorsing plagiarism!

But when something like this occurs, you can handle it in two ways.

1. Try to "spin" it to your advantage, and see it as an opportunity, what
the politicos call "damage control".

or

2. Suck it deep inside yourself and add it to the list called "Reasons to
hate the human race and be very bitter". Be warned, acid corrodes the vessel
that holds it.

It is difficult when you feel wronged to look at the big picture. But the
community will benefit from the design being in production. It is likely
Dopers attorneys advised them to not to credit sources, even if they wanted
to. This just gives opportunity for litigation. And then EVERYBODY loses.
