[sdiy] generators/antennas analogy?

Yeah, its true. None of these studies have been conclusive.
BUT, OTOH-
It prlly has more do do with PCBs in the xformers that are usually near
these hi-tension lines. For some reason, that seems like an obvious one, and
no one gets involved in studying that connection.
IMHO, the high tension line argument was started to push the real estate
values in these areas downward so that they could be rezoned to industrial
(being near power lines is *very* preferable in industry) to save them the
extra money of having to pay for extra high power runs.. Follow the bouncing
$$$.
Unfortunately, it got a bit out of hand, and some reactive types got ahold
of this info and ran with it because they didn't understand the full
implications of high tension runs and the other equipment involved. Now, the
PCBs sure could cause these issues.. But, most ppl are still deadwalled into
the whole "voodoo field" theory.
The xformers are small: the towers are large.. The large things must be the
problem!
