[sdiy] (OT) Borg Filter on Ebay

This is an example of what I call the "Musical Instrument Paradox". No one
wants to buy what is available. But as soon as it is NOT available, all of a
sudden, it is desirable. In this case, worth more than the original selling
price from 6 months ago.

Musical instrument manufacturers actually play into the hands of this
phenomena by announcing next years products a year early. Now no one wants
to buy this years product (black with red LEDs) because they are waiting for
next years product (silver with blue LEDs). Which, by that time, they will
have announced the next years product (a software plugin) and the hardware
with blue LEDs will seem old hat...

And so it goes.
