[sdiy] Drilling 'square' holes

Walk into your hardware store, ask for a square drill bit :)

Seriously, I take it you are concerned about making the rectangular holes for the two large flanges on the pots which mount them to the PCB. Just use larger round holes for these, just large enough so they snap in. You won't have problems soldering them. Or make a slot by drilling a row of holes and cut or file the hole into shape.
