This guy has taken the Paia tube series just about as far as it can go...  I personally believe this kit is the best hundred bucks you can spend to greatly improve your sound, unless of course you already have a bunch of old tube preamps in your collection already...

PS any advice on how to do the symettry mod he suggests without grounding or additional noise problems?
