Cool idea - maybe see if the owner is into electronic music and bribe them
with a small synth for use of their laser between other jobs.
The laser does have a finite cost to run ( amortization of equipment costs
plus the tube is only rated for x-thousands of hours lifespan ) but maybe
offer to pay this and see what kind of deal you could work out.
