Dear DIYers:
Thank you all for your input and I hope it keeps
coming.
To date, I've made a few requested corrections,
asthetic changes, added TomG to the preferred
component table (his input was originally in
the subs table, but I thought it more appropriate
for "preferred"s). I also went thru the "unofficial"
archives and extracted what was clear substitution
commentary. I'm now out of "raw data", but I'll
be glad to add whatever anyone else has to offer.
The categories in "preferred" are not cast in stone
and I can add to them at will. (anyone have a
favorite UJT? <grin>)
This site is at:

BTW, I know the tables seem rather large, but here
are the actual sizes of the HTML files:
9639 OPampDATA.html
14060 PreferredComponentListSynthDIY.html
9673 parts_subs.html
So it doesn't really look bad enough to start splitting
tables up. I'd like to give that some thought for a
while and come up with something that works for the web
and also isn't a b*st*rd to maintain.
