Magnus...LOOK OUT....we had the huge <Which PSU> argument/thread/flame-war
only a little while ago....let's not get into another one now:-))....Those
who are old list members will have seen several as the <They're cheap and
they normally work and they're easy to to do> people defend the 78nn/70nn
series, old duffers like me point out the superiority of the 723/bypass
tranny design in it's isolation of the voltage regulation from the current
driving whilst ignoring its complexity and high parts count, and the 317/337
middle-of-the-road boys catch it from both sides....lets not go there again
shall we folks....
