AD discontinued the 2017. They sold the production rights to THAT corp.
Go to their site to find the datasheet. (don't remember the new
designation right now)

It's a current limiter, to avoid short circuits. The power of the lamp
(V X I) needs to be similar to that of the amp, or a bit less, to help
protect your ears.

To get multiple outputs, just duplicate everything after the 2017, many
times you need, connecting them to the same point (pin 6).
