I'd love to be able to extend this to my K3m. It has 32 waveforms
onboard, yet nearly 90% of them are just poor sounding. It does have
a onboard additive engine, and I dig that, it just would be nice to
have a "solid" bank of wave samples. I've got a copy of the
wavestation waveforms (220 waves) and the DW-8000 waveform (16
waves), It would be nice to pick the nicest of these two sets to
replace the k3m's set.

I wish i knew where to begin with this, but I know its way out of my
scope of knowledge right now.

***Oh yeah, while i'm at it, I need to ask if anyone is familiar with
the TR-707/727 operating system.
The 707/727 has a "major" flaw in that it will not send out midi note
information (from the sequencer) while it is in "pattern write" mode.
In a nutshell, it almost wipes out the possibility of using its X0X
sequencer to program external midi devices (samplers).
This is because the 707/727 will only send out midi note data when
the machine is set to "track play", but because you can't hear the
patterns while you are programing them, uh, you can see how it sux.
I think the 707/727 would have been an incredible drum sequencer, if
only the IDIOTS at Roland had simply enabled Midi Note data in
"pattern write", like with the TR-909.

So, In the end, can this be fixed, more so, does anyone on Synth-DIY
feel they could correct this? If needed I could make a Rom Image of
my TR-727's eprom........well its worth a shot anyway, If anyone can
do it, they are on this list :)

Thanks
