Thanks for the answers so far!

I found an interesting schemo on the net:
Using SSM2017 and BUF04's. This one seems quite simple, using quality parts.
Like it...

What lamps should be used? Or is there a better solution to do this? I think
it's rather strange putting a bulb in...
Other comments on the schemo? Wouldn't it be better to have a controlable
input level to make sure not to overdrive the ssm2017?

Now. I'd like to have multiple outputs, and another input, with volume and
mix controls for each output seperately. Now how would I do that? The input
stage (x4, 2 x stereo) is clear. Same for the output stage (stereo for each
output). Now how do I put a -quality- mixer in between?

And where the hell am I going to get that many BUF04 samples... Darn. :-)

Thanks!
Roel

Use the basic Paia layout, and use another opamp. One good choice (a 20W
power amp, in fact) is the LM1876 from National Semiconductor, a very
good sounding device. You'll need to limit the output power, of course.
The datasheet will show you how.

Or, better yet, try the Analog Devices BUF04. (visit the the website).
Burr-Brown makes a nice set of audio buffers that sounds nice, too.

If you want hi-end, forget "wall-warts". Build a symetrical and
regulated power supply, with LM317/337.

Good luck,
