[sdiy] unused pins ?

    That is a question that doesn't really have a good answer.  Some IC's,
you *must* connect the pins to something (CMOS inputs must be connected to
an output, VCC or GND), while the offset pins on a TL071 *MUST* be left
open if they are not used.  Data sheets, in general, are not much help in
this.  They generally do not spell out the rules.
