Threre are several different vibration modes, depending how mounted.
I remember one set of 2way radios here in Australia that failed in the field
because of metal fatigue in the legs (they were mounted in bulldozer cabins).
I dont think they are as microphonic as ceramics, which you can actually use
as pickups for engine tachos.
The prob is, some vibration modes MIGHT vary the cap. Others wont, probably.
