[sdiy] Small Resistors and slider pots

Whole bunch of photoresistors in series (in physical relation to each
other, that is, not electrical), comparators, and a microprocessor. When
the voltage through the photoresistor goes high, that is, a shadow falls
on it, the processor interprets his to mean that the edgeof the shadow is
at that point, outputs proper voltage. "d be awfully grainy, but, if
you've got a whole wall of this thing, graininess shouldn't matter too
much. Might be fun to make soundsculptures this way.

Rather reminds me of 99's lange nacht der muenchner museen. There was an
exhibition, I forget the name and where, I just remember itwas a stop or
two east of thewall exhibition (had some of pink floyd's music playing),
where there were synthesizers that outputted sound depending on where
shadows falling on hem fell. Anybody remember/have any information on
this, who did it, and so on?

Enjoy.
