[sdiy] Semi OT: Silent Switching Solution?

Photocell/LED interruptor module... break the light beam and the guitar cuts 
out... LED will give reasonable battery life...

Wire in series with the guitar output. The photocell response will be
slow enough to give attack and decay and prevent thumping.
