At the same time, they will flash in time to the signal. 
;-)

It is easy to work with these, you could also probably 
modulate the signal with a dc bias on the cathodes. They 
don't require a very high voltage to operate either. Someone 
needs to try this, who wants a challenge, somebody else's 
turn??
