ASM-1; How close is it to the SEM?

Er, I thought that it used the same type of filter? Honestly, sonically and
modulation-wise, how close is it? It *looks* a heck of a lot like an SEM,
and the filter topology does look a bit similiar, but I want to know mainly
about the sounds.

Does that clarify things? ; )

Rob

Wondering if its possible to lay the thing out in SMD so it can be
rackmounted in only a few spaces........
