buick roadmaster (was minimoog clone)

Hi,

weren't the wooden panels on the roadmaster made of vinyl?
I bought mine without them because I thought they were ugly.

Original minimoog wood is also very bad due to the poor finishing.
On my three original minis I took all the wood off, and I got it buffed and
sprayed again. The result is astounding, like a Les Paul top.
My 3 minimoog clones are 3 rackmount spaces each, black panel, white writings.
I did not add many controls, but I haven't been able to fit the original
knobs on it.
