Transisters in schematics

Hi Everyone,
I've been haveing trouble with Transisters in schematics. I have provided a picture
of an NPN and a PNP transister with what I believe to be the correct pin
assignment. Please correct me if I am wrong. Also which is which, is the 
arrow pointing in a PNP or NPN?
