Well, yeh, I agree with this in principle, but I also say the 828's are good
from having tested quite a few of them and achieving consistently good
results.. Admittedly I haven't tried these from different mfr's, but from
going thru my jar of transistors, I tested quite a number of each type of
device which I had on hand that I thought to try out.. I think I tried
2SC536, 828, 930, 945, BC547, maybe some 2n.. was a while ago...
