Hi folks,

it's true, this book actually exists. I got it today. Sometimes it can be
useful to live in the same city where the german Elektor HQ is located...

I asked them if there is an english translation planned - currently not,
they said :-/
But at least they didn't say they had decided against a translation.
[editor's remark: Maybe people should start nagging them...]

As it appears from a short 2 minute glimpse, kits (maybe bare PCBs as
well) are available from the author, not from Elektor. PCB layout images
are included.

VCO: 3046/86 type, no heater, using one of the array transistors as a
temperature sensor instead of a tempco resistor. Sine output via
diode-distorting the tri, IIRC that's as before.

SV VCF: looks pretty familiar, but using more common parts for
exponentiator, and - we're not worthy :) - all the FET followers are
gone, TL081s instead.

Cascade VCF: discrete selected transistor ladder, op amp buffered output.
As it seems nothing special, not even a reverse log pot for Q, um, I
mean "resonance" <gr>

cheers
Christian
