[OT] Patents in the USofA

Apparently British Telecom is currently trying to get a patent on 
hypertext!..

Here's the some of the general clauses for patent in Australia..
It must be a novel idea for doing somthing ie you cant patent a concept, 
only a way of doing it.
It must not have already been done in a similar manner
It must not have been disclosed to the general public, or been marketed 
already,..
something like that anyway..
