When I get the money, I'll give it a go. No money at the moment.... :-( I
figure that I'll build it on prototype board -- the type with five holes to
a track, tracks arranged in a grid. I live in New Zealand, so I figure that
anything analog that makes noise here will either be unusable, or too
costly. Therefore diy. I think I'll ignore the eprom part of the 909, and
the digital parts, until I get into uni next year.
I don't quite get how bad layout can affect a circuit, so I plan on
ignoring that part for the moment :-)
