The little squares and triangles do indeed indicate which lines are
connected :-) they are simply there to make things easier for you.
The EPROMs do contain the data for crash, ride, hihats etc. Colin Fraser has
the data for these EPROMs on his website.
Are you going about building a 909 clone, out of interest? I started doing
that myself, and designed PCBs for it. I recently got my pcb's from a friend
who made them for me. Unfortunately one of them needs a little repair work
as some tracks are inclomplete.... bah....!
But with so many projects on the go, I might not have time. I might end up
selling them...
